Acme Marina Management LLC is Hiring a Marina Customer Service Specialist Near Sag Harbor, NY

The Marina Customer Service Specialist is responsible for assisting members with their immediate needs. This may include, but not limited to, giving information on the facility, products and services, assisting with reservations, and collecting payments. They are also involved with daily marina tasks which includes helping to ensure our marina operations run smoothly and that our guests' expectations for a welcoming, clean and safe environment are met and exceeded.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Assists leadership team and other Marina Crew Members in marina related with relations to the guest/customer experience
Provide the highest level of customer service to all guests and visitors
Developing and maintaining effective and friendly working relationships with staff, members, guests and dealing with conflict effectively, courteously, and tactfully
Responding to member questions and needs via phone, email and in person
Dealing with conflict effectively, courteously, and tactfully
Routine administrative tasks
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and sanitation policies
Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED, required
2-3 years customer service experience required
Able to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Must enjoy working outdoors

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be able to swim
CPR and First aid certified
Reliable with good time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritize work
Strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with teammates
Enjoys working with the public to provide exceptional customer service
Adaptable to working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluation situations and making decisions.
Work tasks may be performed both indoors and outdoors.

Must be able to lift and move up to 20 lbs.
Frequent walking, reaching, bending, turning, and stooping,
Outside work for extended periods of time in various weather conditions.
Normal vision and hearing ranges required.
Must be comfortable using all dock equipment and materials (gas pump, boats, ropes, anchors, among others).

Work Environment

Outside work for extended periods of time in various weather conditions.
Work tasks may be performed both indoors and outdoors.
Working in wet and slippery conditions. Frequently working in an outdoor, hot, and damp environment.
