This position is responsible for contributing to the patient care team in the promotion of patient safety.
- Supports a work environment that promotes safety for patients, staff, and customers.
- Reports safety concerns or defective equipment. Maintains awareness of safety at all times.
- Maintains continuous observation as needed, either personally or by safely transferring observation to another team member.
- Collects and reports data about the patient/family as directed by the registered nurse. Remains alert for, and reports, changes related to patient's safety. Documents observations in an appropriate and timely manner.
REQUIREMENTS:
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Good power of observation
