The role of the LPN is integral in our delivery of world-class patient care. The LPN works closely with the licensed provider as well as other LPN's, Medical Assistant's and front office staff.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for clinically and clerically supporting the physician and other staff members in the delivery of quality patient care, following established standards and procedures.
• Provides quality clinical care to our patients in various locations as assigned
• Assists practitioner with patient care in an efficient and professional manner.
• Screens health status of the patient under the direction of the physician.
• Triages patient phone calls.
• Documents medical information accurately and appropriately.
• Ensures regulatory compliance.
• Maintains clinical equipment and supplies.
• Maintains professional accountability and responsibility.
• Provides age appropriate care.
• Adheres to organizational policy and procedure.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Completion from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.

Required Length and Type of Experience

• Minimum of one year experience as a LPN in a primary care office, hospital; or urgent care center preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent customer interaction skills.

Required Licensure or Certification

• Current Ohio LPN license. BLS certification required to be obtained during orientation if not current.
