Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct ABA therapy to children with IDD and/or Autism
Implement behavioral interventions to teach skills and/or address problem behaviors
Assist BCBA in intervention program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Document treatment progress and collect treatment data
Maintain accurate paperwork and submit within a timely manner
Communicates regularly with BCBA and all treatment team members
Assist BCBA in assessments and data analysis
Attend required meetings and trainings to remain in compliance with the BACB and state regulations
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Applicant Qualities and Requirements:
BA/BS degree in Psychology, Education, or Special Education or related field (preferred)
Excellent social skills and good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and also function well as part of a team
Optimistic enthusiastic, self-motivated, and energetic
Valid PA Driver’s License, proof of auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle to travel between appointments
Experience in working with nonverbal children (preferred)
Knowledge in Crisis Prevention Intervention (preferred)
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus!
Ability to:
physically bend, squat, extend arms, reach over shoulders and outward
Ability to sustain energy level that can keep up with active children
Ability to lift, pull and/or push at least 30 lbs
Negative TB test results (completed within the last year)
