JOB OVERVIEW
The ACGME is looking for a highly skilled Program Evaluation Analyst with extensive knowledge of performance measurement systems and clinical outcomes data. Candidates should have knowledge and experience with quantitative and qualitative research, including conducting detailed and complex analyses using advanced statistical methods and interpreting findings for diverse audiences.
The ACGME’s Mission is to improve health care and population health by assessing and enhancing the quality of resident and fellow physicians’ education through advancements in accreditation and education. The organization provides accreditation standards for graduate medical education (GME) programs and their Sponsoring Institutions and monitors adherence to those standards to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality education and patient care. Goals include fostering innovation and improvement in the clinical learning environment. The ACGME established the Clinical Learning Environment Review (CLER) Program to assess the clinical learning environment of ACGME-accredited Sponsoring Institutions. Clinical outcomes data can provide an additional perspective of the clinical learning environments that host GME. The goal of the Clinical Outcomes Program is to build on existing health care performance measurement systems to assess the quality of clinical learning environments according to the Quintuple Aim, which simultaneously improves patient experience of care, population health, health care practitioner work life, and health equity, while lowering per capita cost.
