Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dispatch Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will coordinate transportation services, ensuring efficient dispatch operations.

Job Duties:

- Effectively supervise up to 10 Class A/B Hazmat Drivers

- Developing and Dispatching routes M-F for up to 10 home heating oil and propane delivery vehicles

- Develop a good understanding and familiarity with areas served

- Data analysis and data visualization

- Ensure employee compliance with policies including, pre-post trip, DOT compliance, Hazmat, insurance cards, fuel cards, accident packets, etc.

- Ensure compliance with guidelines as set forth by DOT and internal policies

- Communicate consistently with fuel suppliers

- Ensure compliance with IFTA and PA road tax reports

- Work effectively with team members and provide support to all divisions of the company when requested

- Monitor product inventory storage and ensure supply meets demand

- Communicate openly, honestly and frequently with management, drivers and other personnel

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Leadership ability

- Previous experience in logistics

- Inventory maintenance and quality control

- Works well in a fast-paced environment

- Communication and delegation skills

- Problem solving, organizational, time management and goal setting skills

- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and the ability to work with other software platforms and technology

- Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
