About The Position

AccuLynx is looking for a Project Manager or a Product Manager that is earlier in their career. You have a passion for building and shipping useful, usable, and well-designed software products and apps and can balance that with the desire to be a part of a high-performing team. Product Managers at AccuLynx provide direction and vision to the design and engineering teams that define the next generation of our products and are responsible for managing the team output, prioritizing work, and helping define the product vision at the team level to maximize customer experience and business value.

Product Managers at AccuLynx direct and execute a wide range of activities across the product lifecycle, from product inception and ideation to managing products in the market. The best candidate will be detail-oriented, insatiably curious, and outcome-driven. They will eventually be expected to proactively guide the design, development, and support of features on our core products, as well as anticipate and prioritize the team's business needs. Superb time management skills, an optimistic and productive attitude toward work, and the ability to proactively juggle multiple projects and create a strong sense of urgency in their teams are necessary. The product manager reports to the VP of Product and Design.

Responsibilities

  • Guide projects through development and bring high-quality product enhancements to life
  • Work closely with design and engineering in crafting valuable and usable experiences
  • Validate market opportunities and present approaches
  • Understand our customer and business needs and translate that knowledge into continuous enhancements for AccuLynx products
  • Collaborate with different parts of the organization to define the solutions that will have the highest impact on the business
  • Bring creative problem-solving and an innovative mindset to challenges
  • Identify and analyze data and customer feedback/research to define problems, measure results, and prioritize competing opportunities
  • Define and track metrics critical to the success of product features
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints
  • Adapt and remain flexible to changing priorities and consider new ideas while having the business’s success firmly in your focus
  • Plan and manage multiple parallel initiatives
  • Experienced with Agile/Lean Delivery frameworks
  • Manage the backlog and prioritization for engineering teams
  • Write well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Work with the VP of Product to execute against the defined product roadmap and plan and manage their team roadmaps

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2 years of SOFTWARE product management experience, with experience in SAAS, e-commerce or web-based services required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
  • A data-driven decision maker
  • A passion for driving efficiency and quality metrics
  • An eye for process design and organizational dynamics
  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching excellent products
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with varied responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
