Job Description: We are currently seeking a driven and experienced Plant Manager to join our dynamic team. The Plant Manager will play a pivotal role in collaborating with production and technical departments to ensure operational excellence and drive business success. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership to the plant staff, setting clear goals and expectations aligned with company objectives. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Production Planning and Optimization: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing efficiency and minimizing costs. Monitor production processes, identifying opportunities for improvement in productivity, quality, and safety. Quality Control and Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards and procedures to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements. Implement quality control measures, such as inspections and audits, to identify and address issues promptly. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, fostering a safe work environment and minimizing workplace accidents and injuries. Budgeting and Cost Management: Develop and manage the plant budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities to optimize operational efficiency and reduce waste. Monitor financial performance against budgetary targets and implement corrective measures as needed. Staff Development and Training: Recruit, hire, and train plant personnel, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to support professional development and career growth. Environmental Sustainability: Implement sustainable practices to minimize the plant's environmental footprint, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships to address concerns and resolve issues promptly. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Proven experience as plant manager in the packaging or manufacturing industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
