Knowledge of Heart Failure. Cardiac Experience. Are RNs required to titrate drips? no Common titratable drips Milrinone, Dubutamine, Dopamine; all with set rates, but with provider driven adjustmentsIs there a charge nurse on each shift? Does charge nurse take an assignment? yes free charge when staffing allows. Are there nurse aids/Patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties? - Yes, 2 CCTs/shift to split the floorRT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, Bipap, high flow, etc) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot? No vents. Can take intermittent CPAP and BIPap, not continuous. High flow to certain level. Respriatory always involved, RNs not allowed to manipulate settings or adjust due to patient conditionAre there Tele.Monitor techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors? No monitor techs, nursing responsible for own tele strips. Phillips Monitors? Shifts/Scheduling (do you allow self-scheduling? Blocked?)
