Position Overview:

The Mid-Level Accountant will be responsible for managing various aspects of the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to adapt to the unique needs of a small business.

Responsibilities:

General Ledger Management:

· Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.

· Record and categorize financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

· Utilize QuickBooks Online to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting capabilities.

Financial Reporting:

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements[MR2]for management review.

· Provide insightful analysis to support decision-making processes.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

· Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor communication, and collections.[MR3]

· Monitor cash flow and assist in cash management.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

· Collaborate with department heads[MR4]to develop and manage annual budgets.

· Contribute to the preparation of financial forecasts and variance analysis.

Financial Analysis

· Conduct financial analysis related to telecommunications projects, assessing profitability and return on investment.

· Provide insights into financial trends and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Additional job responsibilities

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· 5 years of experience in accounting roles.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

· Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team.
