The SQL Developer will design, develop, and maintain complex SQL code based on business requirements and new business processes.
The SQL Developer responsibilities include:
- Performing day to day querying and analysis using SQL queries and procedures, and script execution to enhance understanding of data within a consolidated data store.
- Considering amorphous problem sets or functional requirements to determine path forward on creating the query to support end user business needs.
- Migration of queries, including conversion of syntax, from Postgres DB to a Redshift data store.
- Developing materialized views, stored procedures and scheduled queries.
Understanding of explain plans and how to optimize queries
- Experience writing Liquibase and best practices
REQUIRED SKILLS:
1 year of experience with SQL, Data Modeling, Query Tuning and Data Security
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Liquibase, Git, Agile Development
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
US Citizenship required
