Accenture Federal Services is Hiring a Release Manager Near Arlington, VA

The Work:

The Release Manager coordinates with multiple teams and clients to schedule, plan, and control software releases for a large technology program. Key responsibilities include defining the strategic use of release management tools (ex: Jira), owning weekly and monthly release reports, ensuring release deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and communicating release updates during internal and client meetings.

Here's what you need:

  • Experience working with multiple scrum teams to ensure adherence to project standards. 
  • Experience working with clients and team members to manage initiatives, identify interdependencies and mitigate project risks.
  • Experience creating and implementing the strategy to improve software release practices in an Agile environment.
  • Active Secret Clearance preferred. 
  • Agreeable to being onsite 1-2 days per week.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in project management 

  • Experience interacting with clients

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:

  • California: $ 111,400 - 213,600
  • Colorado: $ 111,400 - 184,300
  • New York: $ 103,200 - 213,600
  • Washington State: $ 118,700 - 196,400
