AFS is seeking a hands-on Developer/Operator to support mission-critical programs. In this role, you will assess the situation and develop/modify/script software to fit the mission. Support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. You will work alongside the customer at their location to gather requirements, provide mock-up designs, and test in the lab environment before deployment. As needed, you will provide status reports to the customer. 

Here's what you need:

• 3 years of experience in software development Experience in system integration & deployment
• 3 years of experience in a Linux development background
• 3 years of experience using debugging skills
• 3 years of experience working with TCP/IP

Bonus points if you have:

• Prior experience utilizing BASH or Python scripting
• Prior experience in network or system engineering
• Prior experience supporting the national security mission

• Active TS in DISS
