Accenture Federal Services is Hiring an IT Access Management Specialist Near Arlington, VA

You Are:

The IT Access Management Specialist will contribute to the overall AFS IT Organization through working to maintain an auditable and compliant position especially with respect to accounts (both standard and privileged) and system access provisioning. This role will be primarily responsible for designing, deploying, and executing auditable access management procedures to ensure AFS compliance and report into the IT Employee Experience Operations Support (EEOS) team structure.

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Supporting internal controls, security, and compliance requirements and initiatives with an understanding of their importance to the enterprise
  • Developing/refining expertise in AFS internal, SOX and NIST 800-171 controls and their implementation
  • Identifying improvements to enhance end-user experiences, auditability and compliance, or IT Employee Experience org efficiency.
  • Defining project scope, objectives, and requirements involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensuring proposed project approaches align with IT operational standards as well as security and compliance policies.
  • Gathering and documenting requirements (and providing direction and guidance for team members on the same), designs, process flows, and test plans.
  • Developing project plans and milestones to be communicated to project teams and stakeholders; tracking tasks to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget; and communicating changes in scope, schedule, or budget to stakeholders.
  • Designing, configuring, testing, and deploying technical controls (e.g., audit logging, configuration baseline, etc.)
  • Reporting and escalating key decisions, risks, and issues to management; overseeing remediation plans, as needed.
  • Creating and improving internal documentation of new and established processes
  • Coordinating troubleshooting and resolution of challenging access, security, or audit issues between EEOS and additional teams as needed
  • Taking on ad hoc responsibilities, as assigned

Here's What You Need:

  • US Citizen required.
  • Possesses excellent organization, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
  • Operates well in a fast-paced environment subject to rapid change and ambiguity.
  • Creates optimal solutions for complex problems using critical thinking, previous knowledge, and experience, or by leveraging and adapting existing methods and procedures.
  • Requires minimal guidance and ability to work independently when determining methods and procedures for completing new assignments and developing deliverables.
  • Works with both technical and functional stakeholders to coordinate across teams and understand system requirements and architecture.
  • Possesses ability to conduct and document reviews with stakeholders to iterate and refine solutions.
  • Knows or has desire and ability to learn intermediate technical skills (e.g., scripting, ticketing systems, software interactions, computer hardware, etc.)
  • Has strong communications skills and collaborates with peers, management, and executive-level leadership?

Bonus Points if you have:

  • ITIL certification
  • Experience in a virtual work environment.
  • Previous work on US Federal engagements
  • Microsoft Software Skills (Office Suite, Power Platform, etc.)
  • Knowledge of NIST 800-171 controls and CMMC audit practices
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and audit practices
  • Microsoft Infrastructure Skills (Azure, Exchange Admin, SharePoint Admin)
  • ServiceNow development experience
  • Secret or Top-Secret clearance

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.

 Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:

  • California: $82,400 - $154,800
  • Colorado: $82,400 - $133,700
  • New York: $76,300 - $154,800
  • Washington State: $87,800 - $142,300
