Job Description: 

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Test Engineer to lead a team of software developers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:

• Appling business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies.
• Applying testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.
• Utilizing VMware, shell scripting and Python programming to rigorously test custom C software tools in a variety of operating systems, configurations and versions.
• Reviewing tool design and intent in order to interpret and provide feedback to the software developers on actions that occur during testing.
• Verifying tools operates correctly and documenting tool deficiencies and characteristics.
• Reviewing tool documentation for accuracy and suggesting improvements.

Here's what you need:

• 1-3 years' experience with Python, C , Linux shell scripting, and VMware in a variety of operating systems, configurations, and/or versions. 
• 1-3 years' experience working in testing and/or quality engineering environment.
• 1-3 years' experience reviewing tool design.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience working in Agile Environments
• Experience with verification and documentation of tool operation, deficiencies, and characteristics. 

Security Clearance:

• An active TS/SCI clearance is required to start

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

California: $90,700 - $147,100 

Colorado: $90,700 - $127,100

New York City: $105,000 - $147,100 

Washington: $96,600 - $135,200
