Accentuate Staffing is seeking an Accounting Associate for one of our clients in Morrisville, NC. We are looking for a person who loves digging into data and can remain focused and diligent in recording and reconciliation of data from numerous sources.

The Account Associate will also collaborate with a variety of people within and outside the company have an eye for detail can multitask and is able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities : Check Invoicing team Invoices Daily - prepare credit memo when needed record client payments in QBTracking client payments send out open invoices reportPrepare client statements and handle client audit requestsReview invoicing team EOM reports and handle any discrepancies Enter International invoices and Vendor invoices into QBReview AMEX Statement -collect receipts, enter into QBRun open invoice report- do check runHandle wires as neededHandle Petty Cash Account-Journal entries when neededRun Financials and cash journal reportsBank reconciliationHelp with Payroll responsibilities - Payroll taxes, new hire paperwork Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree required, with a preference in Accounting, Finance, or Business AdministrationMinimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accountingProficient with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other applications related to finance and accounting.

Strong organizational skillsAbility to effectively work across teams and levels.Ability to identify areas for efficiency improvements and create change where necessary.
