Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in Merritt Island, FL . Interested?

Here's what you'd do :

• The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for all aspects of Indirect Purchasing, which is obtaining or acquiring goods and services to meet the client's operational needs.
• Initiate vendor creation and maintenance.
• Coordinate Blanket POs.
• Coordinate Receiving documentation for payment processing.
• Update change order revisions and purchase order pricing as necessary.
• Primary POC with AP and vendors to resolve open invoice issues and review vendor statements.
• Prepare and issue purchase requisitions or orders, driving compliance with the client's purchasing policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Yearly Close POs, as necessary.
• Ensure continuous supply of necessary goods and materials through order follow-up and supply chain benchmarking activities.
• Make recommendations regarding contract type, provisions, risks, mitigations, and flow-downs to the Contracts Team.
• Involved in communication daily with internal and external parties.

Hours : Full-time, M-F

Length : Contract to Direct

• Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and computer skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure.

• Working knowledge of U.S. export regulations (ITAR / EAR).

• Comfortable working with all levels across the company and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
