Job Opening: Revenue Cycle Supervisor - Training & Quality

Summary of Duties:
The Training and Quality Supervisor is responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive training and quality program within the Revenue Cycle Department at Acadian. This person will directly oversee the trainers that are responsible for the new hire and continuing education programs. They will also oversee the audit and quality assurance roles within the revenue cycle department to ensure that Acadian meets and exceeds all quality standards relating to the billing and revenue cycle functions.

Job Location: This position is primarily based in the office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring a high quality new hire education and onboarding process is available to all new hires.
  • Leading and developing the training program established for all new hires.
  • Development and implementation of a continuing education program
  • Assistance in the training and hands-on implementation of all new hire training
  • Proactive monitoring of audit scores to identify further training opportunities
  • Oversight of the quality assurance team to ensure accurate application of ACS policies and procedures regarding revenue cycle processes.
  • Development and leadership of team members to ensure training is updated to properly submit claims accurately
  • Develops and monitors departmental goals/objectives to meet company-wide goals
  • Continuously assesses and improves the department's performance using KPIs
  • Recommends training opportunities to ACS Leadership team, and implements ideas
  • Responsible for staffing and maintenance of payroll budgets
  • Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Qualifications

  • Two years supervisory/management experience in a healthcare-related field is a plus
  • Proficient with Google, MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) or equivalent platforms
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Working knowledge of medical billing and federal/state regulations for billing
  • Positive customer relations skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of interactive teams
  • Professional work ethic and dress code
  • Ability to adhere to productivity goals, departmental and company guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently
  • Punctual with strong attendance history
  • Maintain highest level of confidentiality
