Acadia Veterinary Hospital, a well-established and high-quality general practice, seeks to add a Veterinary Technician to our friendly team. We are dedicated to active learning and advanced medical procedures and our Technicians play an integral role in providing excellent medical care to our patients and customer service to our clients.

This is a year round, full-time position. Top priority will be given to applicants with experience in animal handling. Candidates must have experience in a customer service environment. This position requires someone that is excellent at handling difficult situations with tact and diplomacy. Candidates must be comfortable with animal restraint, pharmacy duties, lab work, radiology, monitoring of patients, surgical assistance, maintaining anesthetized patients and handling medical records. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all team members. We are a teaching hospital and happy to train the right person.
