ECOMMERCE FULFILLMENT TEAM MEMBER

PART-TIME

At Academy Sports Outdoors, our Mission is to provide fun for all through strong assortments, value, and experience. The eCommerce Fulfillment Team Member, through an enthusiasm for the sports and outdoors business, is responsible for a premier customer experience in our curbside and in store pick up areas. This position provides products and solutions to a diverse customer base. Through this important work, the Fulfillment Team Member impacts customer satisfaction, store profitability, and Academy’s Purpose.

We are looking for a reliable team member with an availability as early as 6AM to 10pm at the latest or anything in-between, excepting during peak holiday season where we will have an overnight crew.

Skills:

 Excellent customer service orientation

 Effective problem solving and communication with customers and team members

 Ability to multitask and accurately pick and process online orders

 Read, interpret and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, plan-o-grams and procedure manuals

 Proficiently use basic mathematical computations and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form

Responsibilities:

 Drive customer service through the integrity of picking orders and processing orders at curbside

 Accurately and completely execute daily reporting on time as scheduled

 Provide continual feedback on processes and procedures; suggest methods to improve department operations, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers

 Complete tasks as delegated by Manager or Team Lead

 Read, understand and follow company policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior

 Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior

 Duties may change and team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements & Attendance

 Ability to work a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

 Constantly stand, walk, reach, handle, use repetitive motions (hand/wrist/fingers), feel and lift up to 21-40 pounds

 Frequently stoop, crouch, use fingers, grasp, push, pull, talk, hear and lift up to 21 to 40 pounds

 Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance and lift 41 to 60 pounds.

Overnight shifts required during peak business times (major holidays)
