Medical Billing Adjunct Instructor
Reports to : Director of Career and Workforce Services Functional Area : Academic Job Location : Ward 5 Evening

POSITION OVERVIEW :
The Medical Billing Adjunct Instructor will educate students according to the curriculum provided, which is designed to assist students to gain knowledge and skills that will prepare them to pass the Medical Association of Billers certification exam.
The Medical Billing Adjunct Instructor will educate students in medical terminology, anatomy / physiology, ICD / CPT / HCPCS coding, insurance- (claims, payments, and carriers), HIPPA, compliance- (laws, fraud, ethics) and revenue cycle management.
All instructors are responsible for creating a supportive, empowering learning environment for adult learners and delivering quality content area instruction.
Schedule as an adjunct instructor :
Participates in regular meetings with the Student Support Team for this purpose.
Other duties as assigned by Program Coordinator or Director of Career and Workforce
License / Certification :
