Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology strategy and manage our IT infrastructure. This person will oversee the development and implementation of IT systems that support game/traditional media development and company operations. The IT Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our technological resources are secure, reliable, and efficient.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
• Manage the company’s technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies.
• Oversee IT projects, including budgeting, planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
• Identify and recommend new technology solutions that can improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology solutions that support game development and business processes.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for technology services.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the gaming/entertainment industry and IT.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all IT-related matters. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure IT alignment with business needs.
• Manage daily IT operations including desktop setup, software updates, and network management. Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the video game or entertainment industry.
• Proven experience in IT strategy development and implementation.
• Strong understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, and cloud services.
• Experience in IT security and data protection.
• Experience in managing IT projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex projects.
• Ability to negotiate and manage vendor contracts effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the gaming/entertainment industry or a similarly creative tech-driven field.
• Experience managing an office move.

The base pay range for this position is $125,000- $155,000 per year. Actual compensation is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer a competitive package of benefits including paid time off, sick time, company holidays, parental leave, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
