Corrections, Psychiatric and Behavioral Health experience are welcome but not required!
RN Pay:
Multiple locations to choose from across the state!
Corrections, Psychiatric and Behavioral Health experience are welcome but not required!
RN Pay:
- $1,650.00 - $1,850.00/week working 36 hours
- Weekly direct deposit every Friday
- Benefits available; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K
- Local and Travel pay packages available
Corrections RN / Registered Nurses Job Details:
- Examine patients in the correctional environment, evaluate their response to treatment, and monitor their progress.
- Provide mental health and emotional support for inmates and when necessary, refer them to appropriate mental health resources.
Schedule and Timeline:
- Now hiring for November start dates!
- Quick feedback and ASAP start dates.
- 13-week direct contract with a high potential to extend.
- The expedited credentialing process with in-house experts.
- 36 hours per week with the potential to pick up OT.
- 12-hour shifts.
- Day and night shifts are available.
Corrections RN Job Details:
- Provide healthcare services to inmates.
- Conduct health assessments, screenings, and medical evaluations
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, documenting all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care to stabilize patients in critical situations.
- Educate inmates about health issues, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications to improve their overall well-being.
- Participate in health promotion and disease prevention programs within the correctional facility.
- Treat inmates for chronic health issues, trauma, infection, and substance abuse.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Collaborate with correctional staff to address security concerns while delivering patient care.
Corrections LPN/Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:
- Active VA or Multistate RN License.
- 2 years of RN experience.
- Corrections, Psychiatric, and related experience are welcome but not required.
- Clean background check upon hire.
