Resident Assistant
We are currently looking for energetic and passionate Resident Assistants for day and evening shifts to assist Residents in our sub-acute rehab and skilled nursing facility.

Description:
- Responsible to provide routine daily resident care services in accordance with the resident assessment and care plan and as may be directed by supervisors, assist in the maintenance of the environment, assist any resident who is in need and confers with either the Unit Manager or Charge Nurse regarding any problems.
Job Function
- Assist CNA’s by making beds and restocking linen carts
- Offer Residents snacks and drinks throughout the shift.
- Assist during mealtimes by passing trays.
- Assist in answering resident’s call lights in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all residents are treated fairly and with kindness, dignity and respect.
- Perform all job duties according to the highest standards and goals established for this job position.
- Exhibit the highest level of customer service towards residents, staff and visitors.
Requirements
- Willing to function under the direction of the LPN, RN Charge Nurse, Unit Manager Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Nursing
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Physical Requirements
- Functions independently throughout the workday
- May push, pull, move supplies on carts weighing up to 50 pounds as required.
