ABS Kids is Hiring a Center Manager Near San Diego, CA

ABS Kids is looking for a Center Manager to support the ABA Therapy center space. Our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy centers support intensive therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a safe and structured environment overseen by professional Behavior Analysts. The Center Manager is responsible for providing management support to the center through facilities management, team communication, inventory management, center policy adherence, and leadership over Center Assistants, Behavior Technicians and their duties. The Center Manager role is focused on ensuring that the center runs efficiently while supporting the clinical staff in delivering high-quality ABA therapy and contributing to shaping a positive work culture.

What Would You Do?

  • The Center Manager role is a new role that is subject to change as we reorganize internal functions and requires flexibility, adaptability, and comfort with change
  • In collaboration with management and Human Resources, participates in development, training, coaching and management of center staff
  • Responsible for facility management, team communication, inventory management and center policy adherence
  • Fulfill management responsibilities over Center Assistants, Behavior Technicians, and other administrative support staff as needed
  • Act as liaison between parents/caregivers and Behavior Technicians, addressing any concerns
  • Participate in weekly and monthly meetings to address non-clinical center needs and concerns
  • Oversee and support setting up daily center activities including center events and celebrations
  • Delegate cleaning and organizing tasks to underutilized Behavior Technicians/Center Assistants
  • Facilitate coverage of cancelled direct care appointments, using Center Assistants and available center Behavior Technicians
  • Communicate administrative updates for the centers
  • Design structured activities
  • Communicate center needs
  • Delegate center tasks as needed
  • Complete center orientation for new hires

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Minimum High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of management experience leading a large team of direct reports
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis terminology preferred, not required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solving ability for cancellation coordination
  • RBT Certification helpful, but not required
  • Excellent attendance record
