Key Responsibilities

• Managing a high-volume caseload
• Coordinating QME recommended treatment
• Providing the client with updates on the case
• Communicating with relevant parties involved in a case
• Attending case related hearings
• Maintaining case notes
• Reviewing and evaluating case files
• Possible traveling to assigned Workers Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) locations

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 1 years of experience as a Paralegal or Hearing Representative related to Workers Compensation
• Knowledge of CA Workers’ Compensation
• General understanding of the workers’ compensation system including EAMS, E-filing, and the AME/PQME process
• Highly motivated, results driven, high energy and a sense of urgency
• Strong attention to detail, with ability to observe details on a computer or other electronic screens
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently with little supervision
• Client focused, with the commitment to outstanding customer service and the ability to deliver results
• Bachelor's degree Preferred
• Bilingual (English Spanish) Preferred
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, and Teams
• We are looking for someone who is an ambitious, hard worker willing to work hard and hit their daily metrics and handle a sizable case load
• Must be highly motivated, have a positive attitude, and be a team player
