Supervisory Responsibilities

- Must have knowledge of safety standards.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Must have good work ethic.
- Must be able to read, understand and follow written directions.
- Must be able to read, understand and follow department and company policies and procedures.
- Must be able to communicate positively and effectively with other employees.
- Set up, operate and maintain welding equipment.
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure.
- Read prints and drawings to determine proper equipment.
- Follow all safety and hazard procedures and posters.

- This is a designated safety-sensitive position.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a welder.
- Must have the ability to manually certify in aluminum stainless and 4130 steel.
- Must be able to weld with fluid puddle control throughout entire weld.
- Ability to read prints and drawings to determine proper weld application.
- Must have knowledge in the use of measuring tools such as calipers, scales, etc.
- Must have experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA, etc.)
- Must be able to be certified.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Welding certification preferred
- Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
