Abram laundry services provides repair services for the commercial laundry industry. We primarily serve the Norther California and Norther Nevada region, and also offer services nationwide as well. Our customers range from small hotels to large scale healthcare and hospitality laundry companies. We are hiring immediately for the position of field maintenance technician. The ideal candidate should be eager to step into a great position that offers competitive pay, on the job training, and a balanced work environment.

Requirements:

◦ Experience servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting commercial laundry equipment is highly preferred.

◦ Insurable driving record. A company vehicle will be provided. The vehicle will remain with the technician at all times.

◦ Flexible to work weekends, overtime, and occasional out of town travel as needed.

Experience:

◦ Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on commercial laundry equipment.

◦ Plumbing: Copper, black/galvanized pipe threading, ABS/PVC, etc.

◦ Able to repair: Gears, chains, sprockets, bearings, replace drive shafts, and many other mechanical repairs.

◦ Knowledge to install and repair electrical motors, starters, VFD’s, and other motor safety devices.

◦ Pneumatic and hydraulics repair.

Physical requirements:

◦ Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

◦ Work environment is consistent with a manufacturing environment.

◦ PPE is required for certain work requirements including, but not limited to, wearing safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, healthcare PPE, etc.
