Description

AbeTech is hiring an Inventory Analyst that will lead the charge in inventory control, cycle counting, process improvement and inventory automation. Qualified applicants will be high energy and self-starters who can operate effectively with minimal supervision. This role will report to the Manager of Delivery and Manufacturing but will also work closely with the Director of Business Operations. Candidates will work across several business units within the organization and provide support for the inventory control process. This role is part of AbeTech's Product Offerings group.

Duties and activities:

• Inventory control process improvement
• Owner of part numbering schematic
• Coordinate with purchasing min-max levels for on hand inventory
• Lead inventory auditing initiatives
• Weekly and monthly cycle counting
• Train and elevate staff regarding inventory transactions best practices
• Explore and implement automation using technology with the guidance from leadership

Requirements

Job Skills:

• Extreme attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage several projects and duties at one time
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self Starter
• Desire to have a continuous learning an improvement mentality
• 3-5 years experience in inventory control
• 1-2 years in process improvement
• 1-2 years in a manufacturing setting
• Experience with cycle counting
• Experience with job costing preferred
• Proficient in the Microsoft office suite
• Great Plains experience considered a plus
• Associate degree or equivalent applicable experience required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Operations preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Lean Six Sigma Certification a plus
