Job Description
ABM's Sales Enablement team is comprised of the Deal Desk and Sales Enablement teams. Together, Sales Enablement supports ABM's sales professionals with the creation and delivery sales training, tools, and resources and manages the development of high-quality training deliverables for ABM's Technical Solutions (ATS) group. This team sets the standard for sales enablement for the group. This team member will design, develop, and deliver innovative and engaging solutions and training materials. They will establish training requirements, standards, and schedules, as well plan course design and support documentation.
***Position requires living in the Dunwoody/Atlanta Metro***
Primary goals:
  • Drive organizational success through classroom and virtual training to new and existing employees.
  • Interact with new and existing employees as an instructor or group facilitator, encouraging and promoting our core values and internal growth opportunities.
  • Develop curriculum and structure for sales and operations training of employees that align with various ATS segments.
  • Assist employees in developing essential business and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deliver learning solutions based on instructional design theories that support adult learning principles, including instructor-led (classroom and virtual) and independent e-learning.
  • Maintain and improve current sales and operations training programs including, but not limited to, sales methodology and strategy, operational processes, onboarding processes and materials for new employees, sales skills, coaching for managers.
  • Facilitate training that drives proficiency of the team members in processes, procedures, tools, sales skills, and all other functions necessary to exceed objectives.
  • Coordinate with sales leadership and marketing to align training content with sales strategies, identify sales best practices, and increases sales effectiveness across the sales cycle and deliver content that drives those behaviors.
  • Help to ensure organizational readiness by identifying key stakeholders and conducting needs assessments in order to deliver high quality and effective programming.
  • Create engaging, interactive learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer.
  • Construct course materials including visual aids, participant guides, facilitator manuals, assessments, and evaluations.
  • Evaluate the adoption and effectiveness of training content delivered, preparing reports and recommendations for addressing gaps or areas that need focus.
  • Assist SVP of Sales and sales leadership in determining/improving processes and priorities through the creation and implementation of training and best practices.
  • Engage in self-directed work daily; set timetables for project completion, manage resources, prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision.
  • Develop, conduct, and direct all sales curriculum.
  • Maintain sales training tracking per employee to ensure compliance, safety and growth of each employee.
  • Maintain project documentation, timelines, and course materials in an organized and shared manner.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (education, human resources, business, etc.) with (5) years' experience in instruction and course curriculum design for adult learners in a Corporate or Education environment.
  • Demonstrated success in facilitating learning & development (L&D) initiatives and programs, including L&D needs analysis and evaluation, curriculum and content design, and instructional methodologies and modalities.
  • Knowledge of business to business (B2B) sales, sales methodologies, and sales soft skills such as active listening, negotiation, objection handling, etc.
  • Dynamic facilitation and presentation ability, excellent written and verbal skills, and strong motivational style with demonstrated ability to influence.
  • Experience with the development and implementation of eLearning/online learning, LMS, multi-media learning.
  • Effective planning and project management skills, organized and attentive to details, strong time management skills, and solid logic and reasoning capability to problem solve.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member towards a common goal.
  • Ability to communicate with and hold accountable subject matter experts and executive levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, SharePoint, particularly as used in the development of instructional content.
  • Desire for continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Travel required 20-40%
Work Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment 3-5 days a week. Work hours must accommodate all time zones of the US as needed.
