The Environmental, Safety, and Health Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental, safety, and health programs at our [Location] facility. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, reduce workplace hazards, and promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00/yr.

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

401K– You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CLIENT SPECIFIC - MULTI SITE
1. Environmental Compliance:
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Develop and maintain environmental permits, reports, and documentation.
  • Conduct environmental audits and risk assessments to identify areas of improvement.
  • Implement strategies to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability initiatives.
2. Safety and Health Management:
  • Develop and implement safety and health programs in accordance with OSHA and other applicable regulations.
  • Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs for employees.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
3. Emergency Response Planning:
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Coordinate and conduct emergency drills and exercises.
  • Ensure adequate emergency response equipment and resources are available.
4. Training and Education:
  • Provide ongoing safety and environmental training to employees and contractors.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
  • Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness throughout the organization.
5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze EHS data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and submit EHS reports to regulatory agencies as required.
  • Communicate EHS performance to management and stakeholders.
6. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies, local authorities, and community organizations.
  • Engage with employees and contractors to address EHS concerns and suggestions.
  • Represent the company in EHS matters with external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in [industry].
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Certification in EHS (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence change.
