Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Residential New Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our residential construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in delivering high-quality residential construction projects.
Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Budget Management: Create and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are accurately estimated and controlled throughout the construction process. Monitor expenses, approve invoices, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that construction meets high standards and adheres to relevant codes and regulations. Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays. Proactively address any issues that may arise during the construction process to keep projects on track and within scope.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the construction process. Provide regular updates on project progress, address any concerns or questions, and ensure client satisfaction with the completed project.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and internal staff, to achieve project goals and objectives. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment conducive to productivity and success.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends to continuously improve construction processes and outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a project manager in residential construction, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
