Position Description :

The First Grade Lead Teacher will be an educator who is creative and flexible and recognizes the unique gifts and talents inherent in each child.

The Abington Friends Lower School is a learning environment of joy, wonder, challenge and reflection with a strong sense of community.

Applicants must have :

• Bachelor’s degree
• Lower School teaching experience
• An understanding of child development
• Ability to differentiate learning
• Strong communication skills
