Summary:

Responsible for all aspects related to sourcing raw materials and packaging materials, including PO placement, confirmation of deliveries OTIF, PO to invoice reconciliation, inventories, etc. Monitors requirements and adjusts deliveries on a daily basis. Manages off site inventory (AbiMar DC and supplier inventories). 

 Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sourcing and inventory management for all non-critical ingredients and packaging supplies, including submitting purchase orders to vendors based on production needs, verifying receipt OTIF, reconciling PO to invoice, credit processing, and monitoring inventory levels.
• Responsible for inventory levels onsite, at AbiMar DCs, and also supplier-held inventories.
• Monitor and evaluate performance of suppliers.
• Must participate in bi-yearly ingredient and packaging inventory counts and reconciliation.

Requirements

• A high school diploma required; bachelors preferred.
• 3-5 years related experience in related fields and/or equivalent mix of experience.
• Freight, logistics and inventory management is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills & computer proficiency in MS Office is also required. Related experience
