Job Summary:
The Car Detailing Supervisor at Abeloff Auto Group is responsible for overseeing and managing the car detailing operations at our Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania location. This is a full-time management position that offers a competitive base salary plus commission. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and ensuring that all vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and detailed to meet our high standards.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a base salary of $18 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, there is a commission structure in place to incentivize exceptional performance and results. The employee will also be eligible for benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and potential for growth within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the car detailing operations at the Stroudsburg location
- Supervise a team of technicians and provide guidance, support, and training
- Ensure that all vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and detailed to meet company standards and customer expectations
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of detailing supplies and equipment
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure work is done to the highest standards
- Schedule appointments and manage workflow to ensure timely completion of detailing services
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing excellent customer service
- Monitor and report on team and individual performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the dealership and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in car detailing or related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management position
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of car detailing techniques, products, and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient computer skills and experience with inventory and scheduling systems
- Must be able to lift objects up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
