Description
Perform calculations pertaining to process vessels per the ASME BPV Code Section VIII, Div.1 and calculation support for vessel manufacturing/design. Continued improvements of the vessel pressure drop testing process as well as identifying/implementing continuous improvements as it pertains to streamlining calculations.
Responsibilities:

• Calculation pertaining to process vessels per the ASME BPV Code Section VIII, Div.1
• Utilize FEA to reduce waste in the manufacturing of pressure vessels.
• Continuous improvement pertaining to vessel pressure drop testing for more efficient and affective workflow.
• Execute?other?tasks?as assigned.

Requirements

• Pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Tech.
• Ability to apply engineering principles in the fields of Mechanics of Materials, Heat Transfer/Thermodynamics and Fluid Flow
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) a plus
• Experience knowledge in Visual Basic, C# or C a plus
• Self-motivated
