Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our manufacturing operations and gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of the manufacturing process. Under the guidance of seasoned professionals, you will have the opportunity to contribute to projects aimed at optimizing production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. 

Responsibilities: 

• Conducting analysis of manufacturing data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains. 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
• Assisting in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. 
• Supporting the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities. 
• Contributing to lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying waste and recommending improvements to streamline operations. 
• Maintaining clear and concise documentation of project activities, findings, and recommendations. 

Requirements

Qualifications: 

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or related field, with a focus on manufacturing or industrial engineering preferred. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical manufacturing challenges. 
• Proficiency in CAD software and familiar with manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, welding, grinding and quality control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards tackling new challenges. 
• Prior internship or coursework related to manufacturing engineering a plus.
