Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Preschool Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in childhood development and education, with a focus on creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. Provide a positive atmosphere in the classroom, modeling bicultural education, and fostering deep, trusting relationships with families and the community.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing of age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth in a Japanese language and cultural setting
• Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
• Conduct assessments to monitor students' progress and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with parents and teachers to support each child's individual needs
• Foster a love of learning through engaging activities and play-based learning experiences

Desired qualifications:

• Ability in Japanese preferred
• Interest in Japanese culture preferred
• one of two years of experience in the classroom with young children preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Requirements:

• 12 units of ECE/CD including core courses.
• Hold or be eligible for a CCTC Child Development AssociateTeacher Level Permit.
• Provide TB and medical clearance, passing fingerprint and federal clearance.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs
• Meet all requirements in accordance with Title 5 and Title 22.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
