Overview:

Little Angels Preschool is located in Bernal Heights, San Francisco. We are a small mixed age school, licensed to 20 children from 2-5 years of age. Our curriculum is play Based, Reggio Emilia inspired. We also emphasis on Outdoor play and exploration .

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. If you have a passion for working with students and helping them develop essential skills, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as literacy, math, and social skills
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive educational program
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior in the classroom
- Plan and organize activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and problem-solving
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior

Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is required
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with special education strategies is a plus
- Min of 12 ECE units for Associate teacher and 24 ECE lead teacher required. Students of ECE are encouraged to apply.
- Strong ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes

Job requirements:

- Reliable and on time

- Familiarity with daycare regulations and best practices in early childhood education.

- ECE units required and a min. of 1 year preschool teaching.
