Job Summary:
ABC Nissan Parts Department is seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Parts Department Counter Person. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their parts needs, providing excellent service, and ensuring efficient inventory control.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Technicians with their parts inquiries and orders
- Provide accurate and detailed information about available parts, pricing, and availability
- Process customer orders through the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Maintain and update inventory records to ensure accurate stock levels
- Collaborate with the service department to fulfill parts requests for repairs and maintenance
- Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and providing change to customers
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly
- Utilize bilingual skills to assist customers and employees who prefer to communicate in a language other than English
- Familiar with CDK is a plus
Experience:
- Previous experience in a dealership or retail environment 2 years preferred
- Strong math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and taxes accurately
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
- Ability to negotiate with customers to find mutually beneficial solutions
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and procedures
