By identifying treatment options in this manner, we believe medicine becomes more rational, more precise and, well, more personal.This position is for a Research Associate to join the team in the laboratory of Drs Jeffrey Trent and Cristian Tomasetti. We are a fast-paced research lab focused on cancer genomic landscapes, early detection and effective therapeutic intervention in a varietyof populations ranging from underserved human communities to naturally occurring canine and chicken cancers.This position requires the employee to be a lab leader and perform all duties related to experimental design and execution, data analysis, troubleshooting, general laboratory responsibilities, maintaining a clean lab space, equipment use and maintenance along with assisting/mentoring colleagues, new employees and/or interns. Expectations include maintaining detailed lab notebooks, maintenance spreadsheets and protocols. The successful candidate will have great communication skills and a willingness to multitask and assist others when needed. These skills allow for a laboratory functioning efficiently producing quality data that will translate into publications and most importantly advances in the clinic.We are a human-centric organization that translates to our employees. • Planning, execution, QC analysis of study and communication with other groups involved in study.
• Experiment design, execution and data analysis
• Training of other junior or new staff members and interns

• Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a Science field and a minimum of three years working experience in a lab after graduation.
• Candidate should be independent enough to run his/hers own study once properly trained.
• Cell Culture experience preferred
• Illumina library prep and sequencing experience preferred
