Minimum Associate's degree in Accounting plus 2 years experience, or 5 years experience at an accounting firm with increased responsibility.
In-depth working knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software - Desktop and online.
Advanced experience with the monthly accounting cycle - A/P, A/R, payroll, excise returns, balance sheet accounts reconciliation, clean-up of complete business books.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – both written and in-person.
Must be organized and detail-oriented to follow through accurately and efficiently with ease and professionalism.
Must satisfactorily pass a background and credit check.
Must be passionate about the success of others.
Desired but not required:
Current QuickBooks Pro Advisor Certification - desktop and online.
Familiarity with various accounting applications such as Jetpack, Gusto, Square, Swizznet, T-sheets.
Experience with small business financial reporting analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Experience with setting up or streamlining accounting systems.
Ability to supervise others and oversee an assigned book of business.
