Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter (Bilingual)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will execute the non-exempt recruitment and hiring process for the Distribution Center, Digital Eye Lab, and Customer Service for the NY, FL and KY l ABB OPTICAL GROUP locations. This individual will play an integral part in executing creative sourcing strategies, scheduling interviews, managing onboarding and managing candidates and hiring manager expectations, to ensure a positive candidate experience. Exceptional communication and follow-up skills are required as this position will be responsible for partnering with management and executives in a consultative and professional manner and closing candidates to ensure successful onboarding. The TAS will facilitate hiring events and university recruitment programs and stay abreast of current talent acquisition trends. The TAS will be held accountable to KPI’s which include time to fill and quality of hire.
Essential Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
  • Coordinate and facilitate all on-site hiring events
  • Create and execute strategic sourcing techniques to generate robust candidate pipelines
  • Partner with on-site Leadership to determine weekly hiring targets
  • Monitor all internal applications and coordinate internal interviews in accordance with EEO guidelines and all applicable regulations
  • Manage applicant flow by utilizing our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Engage in written and verbal communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview process
  • Ensure a positive interview experience for all candidates
  • Ensure candidates are moving through the hiring process in a timely manner with a high degree of urgency
  • Communicate effectively with members of HR, Lab, Customer Service and the Distribution Center Leadership team
  • Manage new hire onboarding including but not limited to background and drug screen
  • Assist HR Manager and Corporate Recruiting Manager in other HR related activities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist
  • Bilingual (English /Spanish)
  • Analytical mentality, self-starter with a strong desire to consistently exceed KPI’s
  • Exceptional computer and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated, acts with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to communicate and interact with a variety of internal clients and external candidates
  • Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility in the workplace 
For US Candidates
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan.
