Job Description :

Have you ever wondered who finds the causes of accidents or product failures? Have you ever wanted to be a detective and provide expertise on forensics from structural failures, worker safety, water intrusion, erosion, and many other facets? It is exciting work, and every day is different with varying problems to solve. CED Technologies Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio location is currently looking for a junior Mechanical Engineer who is a problem solver and can perform investigations into accidents and product failures.


Required Qualifications :

" B.S. and or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering

" Recent Graduate interested in pursuing a Mechanical Engineering career.

" Master's or Ph.D. degrees are a plus.

" Desire to attain a Professional Engineers (P.E) license.

" Perform work including development and maintenance of documentation.

" Must be willing to occasionally travel on a day or overnight basis to conduct investigations


A Plus :

" Desire to attain a Vehicular accident reconstruction (ACTAR certification)

" Desire to attain Fire investigation experience and/or certification.

" Incident investigation " Expert witness experience


This position is well suited for an individual who is motivated and a self-starter who likes working independently and on occasion also enjoys working with clients in the field.
