Basic Description

• Part-time Kitchen Assistant position. Approx 25 hours per week. Monday to Friday. Salary: $20,000 per year
• Have the ability to manage all daily food preparation and distribution to clients. Most food is catered and delivered, but prep work is still required.
• Kitchen Assistants will maintain a clean and tidy kitchen & food serving area at all times, and regularly clean & sanitize all equipment, surfaces in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Take out trash and waste on a daily basis
• Maintain and document inventory and all State and Federal record charts. Must ensure that correct food portions are served to all participants.
• Kitchen assistants may need to go on runs to local grocery store to pick up basic food items and accessories.
• Must also be willing to assist with non-food related client Activities when required. Bilingual employees will assist in translation for participants.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work hours are from morning to early afternoon. Must be clear of tuberculosis. Must be fluent in English.
