Data & Analytics leverages business intelligence gained through advanced data analytics in order to maximize AARP's marketing and communications results. This includes using data science, data engineering, predictive modeling, and market analytics to guide data driven decision making.
Are you interested in how data is managed on an enterprise scale using the industry's most sophisticated tools and systems? AARP's Data & Analytics Group seeks a data engineer and/or data scientist to work on a cross-functional team who can roll up their sleeves and dive into the resources that support advanced analytics. Our team is looking for a candidate who can help innovate and enable AARP's ability to manage data through automation and scalable ETL processes. This paid internship has an anticipated start date of May/June 2024 and will go through the end of the summer, with the possibility of extending additional semesters.

Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA)
AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as telecommuting workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work and telecommuting can only be done within the United States and its territories.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly range is $18 for undergraduates, $21 for graduate students, and $28 for Ph.D. candidates. Internships are non-exempt positions and are not eligible for employee benefits.
