Job Summary: Responsible for the creation of marketing materials to aid in the sale of AAON products.

Essential Responsibilities/Activities: Responsible for the preparation of technical documents such as product catalogs, installation manuals, specifications guidelines and engineering white papers and involved in the preparation of promotional materials required for new or redesigned products including sales brochures, drawings, emails, advertising, and training presentations.

• Answers technical/systems/application questions when requested by the field sales organization or customers within an agreed-upon time frame.
• Prepares or assists in the preparation of technical documents and data such as product catalogs, installation manuals, specifications guidelines and engineering white papers.
• Prepares or assists in the preparation of website and email marketing content such as sales and training materials.
• Assists in the training of new field sales representatives and department members.
• Supports customer visits with presentations, product knowledge, and plant tours.
• Understands competitors' products and strategies and effectively communicates this information with the field, marketing team and other functional areas.
• Assists the field sale representatives in optimizing the product bill of material during competitive bids.
• Collaborates with technical and non-technical personnel to accomplish project objectives.
• Coordinates and/or provides input to price reviews and monthly/quarterly/year-end reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• B.S. of Engineering or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong creative, organizational, problem solving, and time-management skills.
• Marketing, sales or engineering experience working with commercial or residential HVAC a plus.

Essential Physical Functions:

• Lift up to 50lbs.
• Climbing
• Stooping
• Sitting for prolonged periods, ~85% or work hours
• Requires periodic visits to manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.

Travel

• Minimal travel to industry/rep trade shows in support of product sales and promotion.
