Aaction Rents is a full-service equipment rental company with 6 locations throughout Sonoma, Solano and Mendocino Counties. We rent and sell hundreds of different types of equipment - from tractors to hand tools. Our multi-million-dollar inventory includes the most demanded equipment from the industry's most trusted manufacturers. Aaction Rents' commitment to our customers is simple. We currently have a full-time opening for an Assistant Controller in our Santa Rosa office. 

Responsibilities and Duties

· Account reconciliation including but not limited to accounts payable, receivable, deposits and intercompany accounts

· Bank reconciliations for multiple accounts

· Assist in the preparation of individual and consolidated monthly and quarterly financial reports

· Unsecured annual property taxes, business tax license renewals and census

· Assist with month end closing

· Support and oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable 

· Daily journal entries

· Maintain accurate records of inventory, fixed assets and other financial data

· Identify solutions to discrepancies in financial records

· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required

· Assist with recording of new equipment purchaes and used equipment sales

Requirements

Qualifications

· High School Diploma

· Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience

· Minimum 5 years related experience in accounting

· Experience with Quickbooks required
