Administers and upgrades coverages for Club's Commercial Lines customers, advising customers on registration, claims, and desirable levels of coverage; identifies risk exposures, alerting management as warranted; completes rating calculations and/or obtains Individual Risk Premium Modification factors as required; supports Agency policies of account rounding and renewal enhancement programs; provides Five Diamond Service during all transactions.
What you will do:

• Works closely with Insurance Agents, Commercial Lines Account Specialist and underwriting to provide competitive quotes on Commercial business; assists commercial business owners with insurance decisions, advising them on matters pertaining to the appropriateness of Insurance coverage, losses, changes, and regulatory conditions; adheres to Five Diamond Service standards during all transactions.
• Processes all incoming mail and reviews new business applications, ensuring adherence to Agency and company underwriting guidelines; establishes an account in the database, generates appropriate paperwork and coordinates correspondence between customers and Insurance companies; acts as liaison to resolve any discrepancies which occur.
• Capitalizes on opportunities to upgrade insurance coverage; keeps abreast of all insurance products offered by the Insurance Agency; cross-sells other products and services offered by the Club.
• Handles renewal processing and remarketing of Commercial accounts; contacts insureds to explain advantages of new Company and higher premiums when required; ensure accounts satisfaction and understanding of coverage.
• Remains abreast of legislative and technical changes in the insurance industry; keeps Insurance knowledge and skills up-to-date, and actively pursues industry designation.
• Completes loss reports and monitors the progress of loss settlement with insurance companies.
• Maintains rate and underwriting manuals for all companies represented and keeps informed about new coverages and products. Acquires and maintains knowledge of companies as well as excess and surplus markets changing commercial risk underwriting philosophy.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.

Education
High School or GED Required

Experience

3 to 5 years' customer service experience in the Insurance industry Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

Valid P&C License Required Must work to acquire a Service Tier Insurance designation (ARC, CISR, ACSR) within two year time frame Required
