Essential Functions

• Maintain valid Pennsylvania Property and Casualty and Life and Health Agent’s Licenses. 
• Develop leads using sources such as our member base of 300,000 plus, walk-ins, phone calls, internet leads, networking, and prospecting. 
• Manage a pipeline of potential clients by actively maintaining leads through the sales process. 
• Conduct a minimum of 50 prospecting calls each week and maintain proper documentation. 
• Meet a Sales Closing rate of no less than 33% as well as other sales goals set by management. 
• Be proficient in sales and quoting of all personal insurance products with the ability to educate customers. 
• Assist Client Service Agents in complex customer service or carrier- related issues. 
• Protect the confidentiality of all customer information. 
• Ability to suggest products and services from all AAA Central Penn lines of business. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High School Diploma or equivalent
•  Pennsylvania Property and Casualty and Life and Health Agent Licenses.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience quoting, selling, and servicing personal insurance products with a demonstrated record of success.
• Ability to develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services. 
• Posses time management skills and ability to set priorities and manage daily duties.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. 
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment, working closely and courteously with other staff members.
